Hannah + Jesse | Augusta Montana

As I walked to the ceremony, I felt so overwhelmed with joy.  My sister was my maid of honor and she held my hand as we walked to the ceremony site together. I put together a playlist for all instrumentals that played while everyone was seated, and then my brother, Micah, and friend, Stephanie, played guitar and sang “My Beloved” as the wedding party walked down. Then after a moment, my song started playing, which was “Liz on Top of the World”, by Dario Marianelli. My dad gave me a kiss on the cheek and put my blusher over my face, and we walked out together. Jesse was crying, which made everyone else cry, and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced.

Jade + Cory | Private Ranch | Mission Mountains.

The Love Story

Cory and I met at Applebee’s of all places. I went to dinner by myself and Cory was (and still is!) convinced I was stood up and asked me to join him. We reconnected a few years later at the Helmville Rodeo. I happened to be attending the rodeo with Jamie Lynn who was taking photos for a coffee table book she was working on. I told her to get a few good shots of Cory fighting bulls and to mark my words that she would shoot my wedding photos someday. Four years later, she did exactly that!

We couldn’t see being married anywhere but in the Mission Mountains. Jamie Lynn was our obvious choice for photography but also became our choice for a venue as well. Her family farm has a beautiful backdrop and it was a dream of hers to host weddings there.

Generally, we tried to follow wedding traditions but when it came to picking the wedding party, we just couldn’t! So became our bridesman and groomsmaid. Everyone should have a groomsmaid, it made life so much easier! She knew what to bring, what not to forget and where everybody else was supposed to go. She kept those guys in line! Additionally, we asked a best friend of both of ours to perform our ceremony, as it was impossible to choose what side he would stand on. We couldn’t imagine it any other way.
